MPC - (Mobile Passport Control)

​ Here’s a comparison of Mobile Passport Control (MPC) and Global Entry: Purpose: MPC is designed for eligible international travelers to expedite customs clearance using a mobile app, while Global Entry provides expedited entry for pre-approved travelers through dedicated lanes at customs.  

1. Application Process: MPC is free and requires no prior application; users simply download the app. In contrast, Global Entry requires an application, background check, and an in-person interview, which can take time and has a fee.  

2. Usage: MPC is best for short trips or large groups without Global Entry members, while Global Entry is ideal for frequent international travelers who want a more streamlined process.  

3. Duration: Global Entry membership lasts for five years, while MPC does not require renewal but must be used each time you travel.
